For 34 years we have stocked the pond with various sizes of trout for the Newmarket Community in this favorite Newmarket family event. Once again, Newmarket kids can fish and compete for the Longest Fish, Longest Three Fish Total, Smallest Fish and the Fastest Five Fish Caught!

For those of you who need to take an occasional break from the fishing pole, there will be a concession stand run by the Boy Scouts Troop #200!

RULES
– Fishing Derby is for children up to 14 years of age. Age brackets: 4 & Under, 5/6, 7/8. 9/10, 11/12 & 13/14.
– Residents & Grandchildren of Residents only.
– Horn blows at 7:00am sharp.
All category prizes and raffle prizes are donated by a number of seacoast merchants and local organizations. If you would like to donate a prize for this year’s 34th Derby, please contact skerrigan@newmarketnh.gov
