The Annual Halloween Haunt
SAVE THE DATE: Happening Saturday, October 26th, 2024
That’s right all ghosts and goblins! It’s time to get back into the Halloween Spirit with Newmarket Rec’s Freakiest Fun Fest of the season on Saturday, October 26th with all of your festive fun favorite games and activities.
We will take additional donations if you are feeling freakishly generous as tons of candy and prizes are given out to all the children at the activities at a pretty scary cost to the Rec!
Costume Contest 1:30pm – 3:15pm:
This is in an effort to speed up the judging contest results. Ages and categories listed on the website. Babies through Adult categories, plus a best family theme category! Prizes given to all winners.

- 2nd – 3rd grade
- 4th – 5th grade

And of course we will have all of the Let’s Make a Devilish Deal games!
TRICK OR TREAT DOWNTOWN 4:00 – 6:00 PM
We are excited to say Seacoast Trolley is back to bring families to downtown Newmarket on Main Street to local businesses for trick or treating. The route will be starting at the Newmarket Junior Senior High School parking lot, where there is plenty of parking, so no need to park downtown.

As many of you are aware many business are having a hard time finding staff, so you can only imagine how hard it is to find volunteers!! Our Halloween Haunt is only as good as the volunteers we can recruit. If you or you know someone who just loves Halloween and/or if your house doesn’t get any tricking or treaters and that bums you out… then – this is the perfect event to get anyone and everyone right in the middle of the Halloween Season fun!
