Follow the Yellow Brick Road into the magical Land of Oz, where dreams really do come true at our Annual Date Night Dance! Newmarket Rec invites you to join us for an unforgettable evening filled with themed decorations, a delightful array of Lite Refreshments and Hors d’oeuvres, exciting giveaways and raffles, and a Land of Oz Themed photo backdrop for capturing memorable couple or family selfies!

Your registration includes access to all the magic: themed decorations, delicious refreshments, giveaways/raffles, a Land of Oz Themed photo backdrop, and, of course, plenty of dancing with fun activities provided by our professional DJs, Sound Dimension.
This year’s enchanting event will take place at the Newmarket Junior and Senior High Auditorium. Doors open at NJSH 6:15 pm, with the festivities commencing inside the auditorium from 6:30 pm to 8:3 0 pm. This delightful event formally known as either our (Daddy Daughter or Mother Son Date Night Dance) is recommended for children ages 4 and up. Thank you for joining us in continuing this memorable Newmarket Rec tradition of our date night dance!
Please note: Parents of (parent/child) couples are encouraged to bring their own cameras or smartphones. Our staff photographers will capture your moment in front of the with your own camera, ensuring you can take your photos home that very night. In case you forget yours, our staff will have a camera on hand that can be emailed to you after the event.
As this is a fundraiser for the event, out budget is very small. We will try to offer some substitutions on the buffet table, but we can’t guarantee we will have enough for all that may need or require certain foods. You are welcome to bring your own substitute options.
