2023 Summer Camp Information

Teens and Pre-teens, this camp is the perfect opportunity to hang out with friends and still get to participate in some great activities suited just for you!  There is plenty of time to hang out listen to music and/or have fun participating in any of the on-site activities the Rec Complex has to offer; such as; basketball, soccer, kick ball, street hockey, making cool and groovy stuff, bein lazy on the social swings, and of course getting “soaked” in our NEW state of the art Aqua Land splash pad!

In addition to that, the Teen Turf  impromptu field trip option is exclusive only to our teen camp and allows the teens to be able to walk or take bike rides in groups to many local areas in town, including downtown to get ice-cream, Piscassic Park to go kayaking or fishing, and some of the best kept secret local watering holes! 

Iguana Wanna Fridays: Not only is our Iguana Wanna Fridays a Camp Iguana Wanna exclusive, but it is also included in the Camp Price!   For those new to our camp, the Iguana Wanna Friday programming is where the teens have an opportunity to learn some new and interesting hobbies or recreational activities.  During this program, we instruct more than 20 different activities that teens will get to choose from based on their interests and preferences, like Chefs in the Kitchen, Cartooning, Sports Skills and drills, Yoga, Dance, Theatre, DIY Art Projects, as well as some off-site Activities like Tennis, Golf, Mountain Biking, Bowling, just to name a few… Yes, we said, just to name a few because there are lots more to choose from through the summer and it also depends on what passions and talents our summer staff has.  That’s right!  These classes are taught by our very own counselors and/or hired instructors who are both passionate and proficient in these specialty areas.
